Eve and her son, Seth, remained behind at the grave with their sorrowful lamentations. They began to do in ample measure whatever the sorrow in their hearts dictated. Their grief could no longer be assuaged, and in anguish they fell to the ground. Hot tears welled up in the eyes of both and flowed like a stream (3312-3320, Translation by Halford, 1984, p. 290)

Analysis

"The sarcophagus is now closed and behind on the left Eve is leaning over it, with tears falling from her eyes. She is wearing a grey skirt and a brown top. Seth, dressed as before, stands on the right, also weeping." (Halford, 1980, p. 33)
