The Fens is at a pivotal moment in its evolution, with $43 million
needed to restore environmental quality to its central water body,
the Muddy River, through bank-to-bank dredging, sediment removal,
phragmites removal, bank stabilization, and wetland restoration.
We hope that the work of Evolutionary Infrastructure can provide
administrators, designers, scientists, and--most importantly--citizens
with tools to make more informed decisions about the Fens' future
infrastructural form. |
