Once users have selected a map scale for exploration, they can activate
individual landscape areas or buildings, i.e. they can search spatially.
And they can do this making complex and robust relationships:
Users can mouse over the screen and individual elements will be identified
by a pop-up window.
They can specify their searches by date ranges (see bottom bar).
They can specify themes:
Made Land
Cultural Patina
Underground Skeleton
as well as individual types within these categories.
Finally, users can further articulate queries by Event Class:
Political + Official
Natural
Cultural
