Evaluation Criterion: Additional Utilities

There are many utilities which could potentially be of use:

• import and export
• encryption: for security
• compression: to save disk space
• versioning
• spell checker and thesaurus
• draw and paint editors
• printing ability
• installation tools

The reader might appreciate a smooth installation and the ability to print. The author might especially need an import utility, if the bulk of the writing was done in an outside environment such as a word processor. However, few of these utilities are essential.
