Frank J. Malina founded Leonardo in 1967 as a professional journal in which working artists could write about their own work. The journal takes a scholarly approach to writings on the relationship of the arts and technology. Leonardo is published by Pergamon Press.
Of particular interest to those concerned with hypertext is the "Connectivity" issue (2.24), a special volume on art and telecommunication edited by Roy Ascott and Carl Loeffler.
