Robert Kendall

Robert Kendall's first book of poems, A Wandering City (1992) won the Cleveland State University Poetry Centre Prize. He has read his work widely at festivals and co-edits Black Swan Review. Kendall's interest in computers has led to the publication of several freelance articles in major magazines. He is trained as a musician, possessing a Master's in musicology from New York University.

All of these pursuits have been combined in the development of SoftPoetry, an interactive multimedia reading experience. The extension of his SoftPoems to include "organic hypertext," merits his inclusion in this study.
