- Cylinder C with bar magnets revolved in front of electro-magnet M Musical
note heard to proceed from R which changed in pitch with revolution of C.
Armature S of R could be felt to tremble.
- Cylinder C set spinning + allowed to come gradually to rest. Descending
musical note heard from R which became momentarily loud when the unison of S
was reached.
- Same experiment repeated with 1,2+3 cells of battery in the circuit
without increassing the effect. If any-
