During the O.J. Simpson trial, a highly respected engineering reconstruction firm called Failure Analysis, Inc., headquartered in Menlo Park, California, put together for CNET, a cable program and web site, an animated reconstruction of the Simpson trial, based on all of the then-available evidence.

This image was not created for use in a trial; it was -- literally -- made for television. However, a number of animated reconstructions of crime scenes have been used in the courtroom as visual evidence.
