Late at Night
Jacob stays up all the next night, sitting at home in front of the tv wearing his beekeeping suit. He thinks about his grandfather's theories of the dead as immoral soul fragments of the living.
Brief flickers of inaction accumulate, and Jacob ends up in lost world contained inside his TV. There, in the Valley of the Dead, Jacob wanders awake and lost, somewhat aware that he is the subject of malicious attention from both the dead, and his bees, who seem to be throwing things at him.
