Star Fragments : Exploding Fright
A complete collapse into the heart of an exploding cartoon star. An original of this violence appeared in the 1920's, during a Felix the Cat cartoon. Nearby in that decade, a stuffed dummy Felix doll was placed in front of an image dissector, and turned into a static television image, broadcast for hours at a time by the experimental NBC or CBS TV station, back during the heyday of mechanical television, when the antenna was located at Morningside Heights in Upper Manhattan. This signal crossed country and time, to finally, radionically arrive at Alamogordo, 16 or 17 years later. Just in time for the great Atom blast. After that, the disturbed signal kept bouncing around the desert, until Jacob finally saw it. You'll see how.
