Here we are, where he was going... actually Johnson Space Center near Los Cruces. This is where they built (in metal garages) the strange shaped lunar bugships that actually stood on legs above the moondust. This is also the place where spy satellite data drops to earth, at an Air Force satellite farm to the right at the front gate.. a tiny place which has a small-circle perimeter fence, but which, by sad NASA lore (Johnson is one of those places giant during the Moon program, and in shrinkage forever since) probably is an inverted skyscraper, with the entire negative 20th floor being an indoor track (running around a swimming pool).
