Monticello - timber zone (plat)



Description: Plat of a detailed survey for the timber zone. The plat was drawn on two pieces of paper, which were attached with 1/2" overlap at the seam. The additional sheet (approx. 8" W x 14-3/4" H) is attached along the right edge of the main sheet (approx. 18-1/4" W x 14-3/4" H).

Condition: Linen backed; loss at upper right corner patched with Fabriano paper (20th c.); 2 vertical creases due to fold; fluid stain at center of right vertical crease; area along edges, creases, and seams discolored due to dirt; dirt smudges throughout center section; assorted discrete stain spots scattered throughout; small pieces of paper attached at upper left and lower right very dirty; Fabriano paper added along left and bottom edges to square-off the sheet

Commentary: 1 piece of paper (approx. 1-3/4" W x 5-1/2" H) attached at upper left edge of main sheet using three drops of sealing(?) wax. 1 roughly- trapezoidal piece of paper (approx. 6" max W x 4" max H) attached at right bottom edge of main sheet. No ms on these pieces.(JH)
