亡兄子而存妾子,幸而得幸,則魯君不吾畜,大夫不吾飬,
庶民國人不吾與也,夫如是,則脇肩無所容,而累足無
所履也,子雖痛乎,獨謂義何,故忍棄子而行義,不能無義
而視魯國,於是齊将按兵而止,使人言於齊君曰,魯未可
伐也,乃至於境,山澤之婦人耳,猶知持節行義,不以私害
公,而況於朝臣士大夫乎,請還,齊君許之,魯君聞之,賜婦
人束帛百端,號曰義姑姊,公正誠信,果於行義,夫義其大
哉,雖在匹婦,國猶賴之,況以禮義治國乎,詩云,有覺德行,
四國順之,此之謂也,
