28:11 And the word of the Lord was unto me saying: And the word of the Lord was unto me saying, et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens And the word of the Lord was unto me to say
28:12 "Son of Man, lift up your dirge over the Prince of Tyre, and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God, 'You are the seal of (good) proportion, full of wisdom, perfect in beauty. "Son of man, take up a dirge over the prince of Tyre. And I said to him: 'Thus says the Lord, the Lord: "You are the seal of likeness and the beautiful garland. fili hominis leva planctum super regem Tyri et dices ei haec dicit Dominus Deus tu signaculum similtudinis plenus sapientia et perfectus decore "Son of man, lament over the king of Tyre and say to him: 'Thus says the Lord of Lords: You were the seal of the likeness who was full of wisdom and the drown of glory."
28:13 You were in Eden, the Garden of God, Every precious stone was your covering: Carnelian, topaz, jasper, chrysolite, beryl, onyx, saphhire, carbuncle, and emerald. Gold (comprised) the workmanship of your settings on the day of your creation they were prepared. In the delights of paradise of God you were, wearing every excellent stone: sardine, topaz, emerald, carbuncle, sapphire, jasper, silver, gold, ligure, agate, amethyst, chrysolite, beryl, and onyx. You filled your storehouses and treasuries with gold (from) within you from the day of your creation. in deliciis paradisi Dei fuisti omnis lapis pretiosus operimentum tuum sardius topazius et iaspis chrysolitus et onyx et berillus sapphyrus et carbunculus et zmaragdus aurum opus decoris tui et foramina tua in die qua conditus es praeparata sunt In Eden, the Pardise of God you were, with every beauthiful stone you were girded: Carnelian, chrysolite, and amethyst; Beryl, lapis lazuli, and jasper; Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald. And with gold you filled your treasure house. Precious stones were in your storehouse from the day you were created.
28:14 With the anointed Cherub who overshadows I set you [or *You are the Cherub with extensive and overshadowing (wings)*]. You were on God's holy mountain, you were amid the fiery stones and you walked to and fro. With the Cherub I set you in the holy mountain of God. You were in the midst of fiery stones. tu cherub extentus et protegens et posui te in monte sancto Dei in medio lapidum ignitorum ambulasti You were with the Cherub who was anointed and a shield. O set you on the holy mountain of God. You were in the midst of the fiery stones.
28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until iniquity was found in you. You were blameless in your days from the day of your creation until the unjust matters were found in you. perfectus in viis tuis a die conditionis tuae donec inventa est iniquitas in te You made your way without blemish along your path from the day on which you were created until iniquity was found in you.
28:16 By the magnitude of your trading you were filled with violence and you sinned. I slew you from the mountain of God, and I destroyed (you) O Cherub who overshadows,[or *the Cherub who overshadows destroyed you*] from amid the fiery stones. From the abundance of your merchandise you filled your roooms with iniquity. You sinned and were wounded from the mountain of God and the Cherub led you from the midst of the burning stones in multitudine negotiationis tuae replete sunt interiora tua iniquitate et peccasti et eieci te de monte Dei et perdidi te o cherub protegens de medio lapidum ignitorum By your great commerce you were filled with iniquity. You sinned and I slew you from the mountain of God and the Cherub who is a shield made you perish from the rocks of fire.
28:17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. I cast you on the earth, before kings I set you, so that they could look down on you. Your heart was exalted in view of your beauty, your knowledge was corrupted with your beauty. Through the abundance of your sin I cast you on the earth. Before kings I placed you to be shamed. elevatum est cor tuum in decore tuo perdidisti sapientiam tuam in decore tuo in terram proieci te ante faciem regum dedi te ut cernerent te Since your heart was exalted by your beauty and your wisdom along with your beauty was corrupted, I cast you on the earth before kings and made you a spectacle.
28:18 Because of your great sins and the iniquity of your trading you have profaned your holy place. I have brought fire out from you, it will consume you and I will set you as dust on the earth before all those who see. Because of the multitude of your sins and the unjust matters of your merchandise I profaned your temple.'" in multitudine iniquitatum tuarum et iniquitate negotiationis tuae pollusisti sanctificationem tuam producam ergo ignem de medio tui qui comedat te et dabo te in cenerem super terram in conspectu omnium videntium te Since by the greatness of your depravity and the sin of your commerce you defiled your holy dwelling, I made fire go forth from you and it consumed you and turned you to ashes on the ground before all who saw you.
