Civic Framework Plan • Bristol, Tennessee/Virginia
next

The links between the elements are made from existing resources like Beaver Creek and its tributaries, forming greenways. When waterways are not available, new paths are created, forming bikeways that non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians can use. The intentions of the connected, coherent systems is to strengthen Bristolians’ and visitors’ understands of the city’s civic institutions and the city itself. Most importantly, the linked system helps residents understand their ownplaces within the city.
