Firm members of DPZ, Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, were the primary designers of the project. Assisting with the project in a one-week charrette were environmental, civil, planning, and landscape architectural consultants. Kathy Poole and Douglas Duany developed the landscape architectural code and worked with the team to design the historical core. Kathy Poole focused on making the existing lake and wetland an inhabitable part of the public landscape.
