From its inauguration, the University has interactd with water by conveying it, moving it from one place to another eventually creating a giant machine. Considering the engineering reminds us that within the technics lay powerful poetics. Reconsidering their current places as disdained gutters and sewers affords our seeing them as structuring devices and places that contribute rather than detract--places full of wildness and wonder.
