| The
city gains a new entry that recaptures its historic connection with the
water. The design celebrates the reconnection of the Muddy River with the Charles River by opening the watercourse and flooding the spaces between the roads, thus, creating broader vistas both from within the city and as one approaches the city. The proposal intends to create a more substantial and provocative urban experience by combining seemingly disparate systems into a coherent and legible whole.
