| Other
areas of the new interstitial garden are soils treatment garden for the
soils dredged from the Muddy River. Here, it is cleansed through phytoremediation
(plants cleaning through uptake and respiration). Once cleansed it is moved
to the "Sediment Necklace" areas or to another part of the Fens
where good soil is needed.
