The year afer I graduated, Episcopal High School, after 152 years as an
all-male institution, began admitting girls. The size of the student body
went from roughly 285 to about 450. A new dorm
and a new chapel were built, among other infrastructural improvements. Heyward Coleman withdrew from Episcopal before the end of his second year, finished high school elsewhere, sailed around the world with his family, and went to college in Montana, the home of great heureticians. |
