Hive-Maker followed lines of Mesopotamian bees away from the farm, and found wild colonies in the trees and caves of the surrounding countryside.

Chopping away at a felled tree to reveal the comb within. Robot walking trees approached our settlement, waving their clumsy branches. We felled them with axes and hoes... an easy task as they could not move as quickly on their roots as we could in our wooden shoes. Splitting the trunks, the mystery of their motion was revealed... BEES! Clack clack clack went our shoes, as we shivered in fear and amazement.
