As I walked, the bee-tv showed me the sites of past, or future explosions.

	Jacob, still walking in the same direction. Or the other direction, can't tell. In Hollywood (30 miles west of here, whoops, not that's Hollyword, or Holyword, the map is a bit stained, can't read it... anyway, I got that one wrong, let's go on)... in Hollywood you're supposed to keep the camera on one side of the actors at all times. The idea being if I take a picture of your right profile, then out of random interest move the camera suddenly to your other side to take a picture of your LEFT profile, then show these two shots in sequence in the Cinema, everyone in the audience will think that you, star of my shots, suddenly turned to face in the other direction, for NO REASON AT ALL. This will distract and confusing most of the paying members of the audience...

To the Desert:

Returning to earth, Jacob realizes it is time to walk alone into the desert, in order to join the weapons that seem to everyone else to be dying there, but which Jacob now understands are in constant transit to the moon and back. The weapons are calling him, asking that he join them permanently in their travels. Following this beckoning urge, Jacob begins a terminal wander into the desert. The bee-tv inside him shows an endless variety of weapon-events in the air around him, in temporal layers that lie transparently one on the other.
