Telephone call from the Moon:
A bit too confident in his own skills as an undead Cain, Jacob spends the afternoon in target practice, until his reverie is disturbed by a telephone bell. Taking the call from a nearby box, Jacob finds that it is the dead wife of Zoltan Abbassid, calling him from the moon. Speaking slowly in the language of Cain, she tries to tell him that perhaps the murder he is meant to commit was already committed in the past, near Basra, which might put him in the ambiguous position of being both subject and object of Vengeance.
