Hebrew: but God knows that as soon as you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like divine beings who know good and bad."

Greek: For God knows that on the day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be as gods, knowing good and evil."

Old Latin: For God knew that on the day on which you would eat of it your eyes would be open, and you would be like gods, knowing good and evil."

Vulgate: For God knows that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened; and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."
