Genesis 3.6


Hebrew: When the woman saw that the tree was good for eating and a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable as a source of wisdom, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave some to her husband, and he ate.

Greek: And the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that is was pleasing for the eyes to look upon and beautiful to gaze upon, and taking its fruit, she ate. And she gave to her husband who was with her, and they ate.

Old Latin: And the woman, seeing that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eyes and a delight to behold, took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some to her husband, and they ate.

Vulgate: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her; and he did eat.

Peshitta: And the woman saw that the tree was good to eat and desirous for the eyes.. And the tree was desirable to look at.. And she took from its fruit and she ate.. And she gave some even to her husband with her and he ate.
