	A slowly rotating green planet, perhaps Pluto, Planet X, or some other place. Tiny things grow wild there. Knee high, super-green, filled with small versions of everything you and I know... trees smaller than bonsai, poodles only 3 inches tall, people only two inches tall, etc. But this planet is a full-bodied model, so you can imagine that means there is a lot more of everything there. More real estate, more falsehood, more coffee trees, and lots of opportunity (if you fit in, i.e. if you are smaller than two inches tall).

His Memory Returns:

At Frisch, Jacob is a programmer writing code for gunsite displays in the simulators. The next day, twiddling code, Jacob feels an explosion in his brain, and remembers a previous experience of disapearance at the hives, which seemed to have occured after hearing voices within the comb. He is so disturbed by the memory that he leaves work, heading home to spend the afternoon watching tv. Inevitably, though, Jacob ends up at his hives.
