A three by threegrid of very small (or large) X-Shapes spinning in exact synchronization, perhaps showing how, when small, they naturally take on the shape of living pixels.
The Golf War:
Falling through a bee-tv that shows earth from space, Jacob arrives in the air above Basra, southern Iraq, in the year 1991. In the shape of a flying weapon, Jacob searches through a variety of subjective information spaces for the victim he has been meant all along to kill. He finds a tank, and using the X-Shape, manages to set it and those inside it aflame.
Plunged back into blackness by the explosion, Jacob rushes back to the Planet of the Future Dead, where his somewhat sudden and displaced act of violence has validated the fragmenting substructure of this vengeance world. New bodies of the future dead proliferate, grown on crystal bee-tvs. Inside the gates of the city, he sees that the X-Shape itself in the process of giving birth, an event that occurs coincident with the doubling of the entire world.
