Watercolor and Ink mappings

Thewatercolor painting and ink drawing mappings compress time and space into one surface. One intention is to make unseen objects and conditions (literally) apparent so that we might find relationships previously unnoticed--relationships between past and present, between process and form, between nonhuman and human creations. A second intention is to reconsider stormwater treatement from a neutral, abstract service and a problem that designers must work around. Rather, it might become an opportunity for design, whether that is an idea, a compositional structure, or an aesthetic.
