Instead of focusing
on the physical artifacts of ecological processes, this work focuses
on the functions of systems. The mappings explore ways of mapping quantifiable
and quantitative aspects of processes, mapping not
water but the more important ecological processes of wetness: wetness as
a complex condition.
The mappings blur the distinction and
merge the usually separate studies of hydrology and hydraulics. They explore
the potential design opportunities and potentially new aesthetics of both.
