The Fens wetland fosters connection to the neighborhoods around it by making visible its relationship with the stormwater coming from city streets into the park. Connections are also made to other wetlands in the region through the plants in the wetland garden. With the removal of the reflecting basin and realignment of pathways, movement of people across the park between areas of activity is improved.
