| A
study of Forsyth Way's historical configuration proved important, as it
once had an open waterway down its center, revealing Stony Brook as it entered
the Fens. This much grander and ceremonial entry not only befits a landscape
of the Fens' importance and an institution like like the MFA. It also reinforces
an important connection between Huntington Avenue, the Fens, and a potential
new entryway to the MFA.
