Two designers, Ann O'Hara Wilkiemeyer (Hara)
and Ruil-ling Zhang chose historical
attitudes that are completely compatible with the current Master Plan prepared
by Pressley Associates (with Walmsley Associates). There surgical insertions
of interventions "accommodate new uses while preserving the 'look'
of the original scenic composition." (Emerald Necklace Parks Master
Plan) The designs alter little within the Fens and support an adaptive restoration approach for the rest of the park.
